HoneyDew Cottage is a charming self-catering farm cottage situated on the Vredenshoogte Farm in the beautiful Keisie Valley near Montagu, in the Western Cape. Vredenshoogte Farm is a 9.5-hectare organic fruit farm just 25 km from Montagu, and is ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway for couples, friends and families. HoneyDew Cottage is nestled at the foothills of the Burgers Pass, of the Langeberg Mountains, and offers glorious mountain views.
HoneyDew Cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and contains 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and lounge. Each bedroom contains a comfortable king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds, and the sleeper couch is situated in the lounge. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with basic cutlery, crockery and cookware, fridge and a 5-plate gas stove with an electric oven. The cosy lounge contains a double sleeper couch, and an indoor fireplace to make the winter evenings a dreamy experience. The living area opens to a covered deck and extended living space, with a couch and outdoor dining furniture. Outdoor braai facilities are available with grid and tongs. Firewood is available to purchase.
HoneyDew Cottage is the sister cottage of Dew Cottage, which are located on the same farm, in easy walking distance of each other. The 2 cottages can be booked together for families and friends reuniting for holidays and weekend breaks.
This is the ideal space for a private and relaxing getaway, and a wonderful setting for experiencing nature and birdlife. There is no cellphone reception and no TV and one can completely disconnect from the bustle of everyday life in order to reconnect with self and each other.
