Description
Hooikraal Tented Camp is an eco-camp nestled in a picturesque 'kloof' between Cape Overberg and Garden Route. Situated a few kilometers from Heidelberg on the N2, it offers a unique escape with stunning countryside views and the Langeberg Mountains as a backdrop.
The accommodation comprises 4 luxury tents that can accommodate either 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The tents are furnished with comfortable beds and have a private bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen, towels, extra blankets, and a hot water bottle are provided for cold nights.
Each tent includes a 2-plate gas stove, basic pots and pans, and crockery. Rechargeable lanterns are provided to guests upon check-in as there is no electricity available. Guests are encouraged to bring a power bank or car charger to charge their phones. Outside each unit, there is a wood-fired hot tub and braai facilities.
