Description
Ikwanitsha Lodge is located on a 300-hectare reserve with its own wildlife stock including zebra, ostrich and various antelope species. Besides observing the wildlife, you can explore the vegetation and enjoy spectacular sunsets in a private atmosphere, away from everyday stress. The Lodge offers access to Addo Elephant National Park, Shamwari Game Reserve, and other private game reserves in the surrounding area.
Ikwanitsha Lodge offers accommodation in 4 chalets, built on wooden stilts, and offering spectacular views over the adjoining valley, the Bushmans River and the foothills of the Zuurberg mountains. Each chalet can accommodate 2 guests and is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Other facilities include a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, a microwave and a tea- and coffee-making station. The chalets each open onto a covered deck with outdoor furniture and stunning views.
In the Bushbar you can enjoy a rich breakfast, typical South African cuisine for dinner and small snacks in between. Besides a bar and restaurant with grill, it offers cosy sitting areas and a spacious patio, where you can relax and enjoy a sundowner cocktail after an exciting day.
