Imagine Muizenberg is a beautifully decorated, fully equipped double-storey self-catering character home with stripped wooden floors throughout. The home is located 2 minutes walk from Surfers Corner in the heart of the vibrant and arty Muizenberg Village.
Imagine Muizenberg can accommodate up to 7 guests. The upstairs floor has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with stunning mountain views. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and has doors opening to a balcony with a table and chairs. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, a washbasin, and a shower that has a door opening to an outdoor balcony. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with a double bed which is only suitable for 1 guest. These 2 rooms share a bathroom with a shower-over-bath, a toilet, and a washbasin.
Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen, dining room, lounge, and studio apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, 5-plate Smeg gas hob and electric oven, microwave, kettle, a dishwasher, washing machine, and cutlery and crockery. The dining room contains an 8-seater dining table and chairs. The elegant lounge features bay windows and a marble working fireplace. The living area opens to a covered front patio with a table and chairs. The house has an outside beach shower.
The studio apartment is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into two single beds, and an en-suite shower with a toilet and a washbasin. The studio has its own kitchenette fitted with a bar fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. The studio opens to a private Italian-style courtyard that is a private and sheltered space for braais and alfresco meals.
Defined by its quaint original Victorian semi’s, Muizenberg Village is such a well-kept secret, that many Muizenberg residents don’t even know that it exists. The village is very community orientated and populated with artists, writers and creative types lending an arty atmosphere to the area. Some homes have been turned into gallery and creative studio spaces, adding further to the creative atmosphere.
The home is set on a road that lies one down and parallel to Palmer Road which is lined with small shops, businesses, a local pub, excellent butchery, bakery, organic food shop and great local restaurants.
