Description
Doornkop 10A Inyati House is a welcoming, spacious semi-detached home set in Carolina, Mpumalanga. This is the ideal place for a getaway with family and friends or simply a break when peace and tranquillity are needed.
The home comprises 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, accommodating 8 guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The second bedroom is also furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. These rooms have sliding doors leading out to the rolling hills, offering views of wildebeest, kudu, sable, or even little squirrels. The 2 remaining bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds. The views from these rooms are inspiring, with picturesque sunsets and sunrises. The first guest bathroom is fitted with a shower, and the second bathroom is fitted with a toilet only.
The open-plan living space features a dining table with chairs, an indoor braai, a lounge furnished with comfortable sofas, a fireplace, and a TV with DStv. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, and microwave. A Weber braai and free Wi-Fi are also available.
Leading out onto the large patio, guests can relax on the outdoor couches and listen to the stream of water just a short walk away. There is also a fun room with table tennis and children’s games, including swimming pool facilities. A brand-new tennis court with basketball facilities is available within a short walk from the stables.
A small shop offers a nice array of Doornkop clothing and fishing extras for guests' convenience. The reserve is renowned for fly fishing, with several dams stocked throughout the year. The waterfalls and rock pools are experiences to behold. Guided tours are available to accompany you on historic hikes and trail walks. Horse riding around the reserve or to the waterfalls is highly recommended. The mountain biking, 4x4 trails, and running facilities are a must, with clear signage for ease of reference.
