Karoonag is situated in the Karoo town of Loxton and offers quality accommodation for a family or group of friends looking for a peaceful breakaway. The house was originally owned by the renowned author, Deon Meyer, and is named after 1 of his books.
The tastefully decorated house comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children at a time. A double pull-out couch for 2 children is available. The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms each have 2 single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed on request. These 2 bedrooms share the second bathroom fitted with a shower, bath toilet and basin.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
The lounge has comfortable seating, including a sleeper couch, and a lovely fireplace for those cold winter nights.
For the summer days, there is a reservoir where one can cool off in.
There are 2 patios where guests can admire the lovely Karoo landscapes, and guests are also afforded braai facilities.
