Description
Kameelboomkoelte is situated in Askham in the Northern Cape and offers a choice of overnight accommodation for individuals, couples, families, and groups towards the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Namibia and Botswana.
Guests have a choice of open-plan units, 1 of which is wheelchair-friendly. The air-conditioned units are furnished with 2 three-quarter beds, a bath, shower and private toilet. For convenience, linen and towels are provided, but guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.
Each of the units has a kitchen that is equipped with a 2-plate induction stove, a microwave, a fridge, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, as well as cutlery and crockery. The units also have TVs with selected DStv channels. The units each have an outdoor built-in braai, undercover parking, as well as an electrical outlet for a caravan or trailer, is available. All chalets come equipped with baths and showers.
Guests can make use of the communal swimming pool or braai area, but all chalets have their own braai areas as well. Meals are available on request and must be arranged in advance with the owner. It is done by Diamond T Coffee Shop.
The Diamond T Coffee Shop serves delicious light meals and is about 900 m further in the main street. Askham is a small town and offers a general dealer, a clinic, a Dutch Reformed Church, cooperation, a liquor store, and fuel.
