Kathu Inn is easily found situated alongside the N14, a 5-minute drive from the Kathu's town centre. Kathu is the iron ore capital of the Northern Cape province. Its name means “town under the trees”, after the Camel Thorn forest it is situated in.
Accommodation comprises 4 buildings, each with 20 self-catering units. The units are equipped with either double beds or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette. In-room amenities include air-conditioning and a TV with selected DStv channels. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are also provided.
Guests have access to secure parking and a swimming pool on the premises. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided, which is ideal for business travellers visiting the area. Although breakfast is included in the rates, lunch- and dinner packs can be also be requested at an additional charge.
Kathu is perfectly situated between Upington and Vryburg, each being a 2-hour drive away. Kimberley is a 3-hour drive away.
