Description

Kerneelia Kothuis is a quaint and secluded cottage with wonderful mountain views on a Klein Karoo farm near De Rust. It is ideal for a couple looking for comfortable lodging, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

This romantic cottage comprises 1 bedroom, furnished with a king-size bed, which can be converted into 2 single beds. There is a three-quarter bed available in the living area for an extra guest. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin and a toilet, and an extra toilet is available outside the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, an oven, a fridge-freezer, as well as cutlery and crockery. Fresh milk and farm butter are provided in the fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities and rusks are available in the pantry. The kitchen opens up onto an undercover patio area which has an outdoor dining set and braai facilities.

In the mornings a special breakfast will be delivered to the door, comprising a freshly baked item from the farm's main kitchen, seasonal fruit and yoghurt. A carafe of Doornkraal's wine and enough woon for the stay is included.

Guests can enjoy horseback riding which is a great way to explore the area, and beginner riders are welcome. There is also a variety of walking and mountain biking trails in the area.
