Description

The Klipfontein Farm House is a lovely renovated old self-catering farm house with some modern accents set on the Collingham Farm in the Stormberg area and is an ideal location for a quiet holiday for a family or group of friends. The farm is located approximately 15 minute's drive from the town of Molteno.

The rustic house can accommodate up to 7 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The house is off-the-grid and power is provided by solar, and the windmill provides water.

The first bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, its own fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, an additional single bed, and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The third bedroom contains a double bed.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, a gas stove and oven, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a separate scullery area. The dining area contains an 8-seater dining table. The lounge features comfy seating, a gas heater, a fireplace, and a TV. Wi-Fi is available. The farmhouse opens to a covered patio that runs the length of the house and features outdoor seating and beautiful views. A braai facility is available.

The travelers' room is part of the main house with its own private entrance. The open-plan room features 1 King size bed and a single bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower.

A couple of meters from the house, the old milk barn with its stone floor, is now an indoor braai area. This rustic space allows for great social gatherings with a built-in bar and couches around the fire.

A variety of homemade meals and farm produce can be ordered in advance.
