Bloukrans is nestled in the southern part of the Moordenaarskaroo, 30 km north of Laingsburg. This largely untouched landscape boasts breathtaking, enigmatic scenery, a rich diversity of life, and a haunting sense of desolation. The Buffels River significantly shapes the landscape during its episodic floods, creating a canyon and exposing a massive rock face, as it has for thousands of years.

Kliphuisie @ Bloukrans Klein-bewarea is located on a 1000-hectare farm and offers accommodation in this unique Karoo house. The house has been beautifully restored, maintaining an unpretentious style and character, perfectly capturing the true essence of its surroundings.It can accommodate 2 guests and is furnished with a double bed. It has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. There is also an outdoor shower. Linen and towels are provided.

The unit has a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, 1-plate gas stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It also features a dining area where guests can enjoy their meals and a cosy wood-fired fireplace and stove.

Outside on the patio, guests can enjoy a lovely morning coffee or a glass of wine at sundown, while the fire at the braai crackles.

Guests can cool down in the concrete farm dam or enjoy a hike on the trails on the farm.
