Klipwerf is a charming self-catering house located in the picturesque Bettys Bay on the whale route in the Overstrand. This property is only 400 m from popular Silversands Beach and about 450 m from Draadbaai which offers a challenge for the snorkel divers.
This spacious double-story house can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first level. The main bedroom boasts sea and mountain views and is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, while the pyjama lounge has a bunk bed available. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided. Additionally, there is a dedicated workspace for those who cannot quite leave their work responsibilities behind and comes with complimentary Wi-Fi. The pyjama lounge also opens up to a balcony where guests can enjoy a lovely morning coffee whilst watching the waves crashing.
The lower level of this house offers an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It opens up to a spacious dining room and further extends to the living room with comfy couches and a TV with Netflix and features an indoor braai area.
The patio offers outside seating and a lovely outside braai area and guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.
Betty's Bay is known for its popular Stony Point, home to the African penguin, and a charming seaside restaurant. The Harold Porter Botanical Garden offers a tranquil escape with beautiful scenery and easy hiking trails, including the soul-soothing Leopardskloof. Additionally, there are various dining options in the nearby villages, making it a delightful destination for both nature enthusiasts and food lovers.
