Kloof Street Hotel

Excellent!

I would definitely recommend Kloof Street Hotel to anyone! It is centrally located and has a wonderful staff. It will be difficult to stay anywhere else!

Absolutely worth the value for money.

Breakfast was amazing, the service excellent and the view spectacular. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 2 nights and I was willing to cancel my next destination and prolong our stay if I could.

Really great. Front desk was super helpful and accommodating.

I would only suggest to let the staff who cleans the rooms to double check. We missed hand soap in the bathroom and the shower drain was completely clogged resulting in the water to overflow. Other than that - it was a comfortable stay.

Fantastic city hotel!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel. Staff were accommodating and the facilities were beautifully decorated in a modern yet cosy feel. Breakfast was absolutely divine!

Value for money paid, booked on winter promotion. Staff at reception friendly, welcoming and of assistance. No mat/rug in room, I suggest they look into putting in a mat, flooring is very cold and one ends up using a towel to stand on after showering. No variety at breakfast, only scrambled eggs for four days of our stay. Only apple juice flavour put out for breakfast buffet.

Sal waardeer as die parkering vir inklok voor hotel gereserveer kan wees en vir kliënte wat ingeboek is gratis is in basement. Tariewe per nag kwalifiseer vir gratis parkering. Vriendelike personeel is wonderlik en laat elke gas welkom voel.

Great staff! Not much of a city view.

When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by two friendly gentlemen (one of which was named Jethro)! They gave me clear instructions on where to park and where to locate my room. The room was clean and well-prepared. Two single beds were pushed together to make a double bed (not my favourite thing) and outside my window was another block of apartments even though when booking the hotel it said "city view" describing the amazing Cape Town sky scrapers (none of that was visible from my room). Otherwise, the hotel was amazing!

Ons het oorgeslaap vir my man se 40ste. Dit is sentraal geleë, ontbyt was ingesluit en die beddens was ongelooflik gemaklik.

Professioneel en vriendelik.

Teen Kloofstraat so wees bewus van straatmusiek wat tot na 12 gehoor kan word as jy normaal gewoond is aan 'n stil nagrus en omgewing, toegegee vir jonger mense kan dit juis positief wees.

Vriendelike diens van hotel- en restaurantpersoneel.

Alles was regtig baie lekker met 'n wonderlike uitsig. Net so paar goedjies: Ons duvet se binnekant was 'n kombers en dit was redelik ongemaklik aangesien dit heeltyd rond geskuif het. Ons het nie 'n afstandbeheer vir die lugversorging gehad nie en ook nie die pryslys vir die "mini bar" nie. Die koffiekapsules het nie in die masjien in ons kamer gepas nie. Dis klein goedjies, maar behoort aandag te geniet.

Baie gerieflik, netjies en goed geleë.

Wat 'n aangename verrassing. Goed geleë en baie gerieflik. Kan die hotel beslis aanbeveel.

Very small room and noisy.

Unfortunately located next to Tiger's Milk makes for a long and noisy night's stay. Room quite small considering regular cost of room per night. Staff very friendly and helpful though.

One of the best holidays ever!

The staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, and all you have to do is relax. The food from the on-site Sanctuary Restaurant is always fresh and delicious.

We had the best stay at the hotel, I would suggest the photos of the rooms be updated as it didn't look quite like the picture and also no view.

The Friday night was very noisy outside (we were by the apartment blocks/restaurant side with no view) but the hotel manager sent us a complimentary bottle of wine to apologize. The hotel room was extremely clean which I love and the actual location and hotel food, pool look and feel was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. I think the pictures of booking the rooms just need to be updated.

I was happy with my stay. It was a business trip so not much social time.

I was happy with my room and the hotel in general. I was just disappointed when the night staff at the restaurant told me that breakfast would be served from 07:00 instead of 06:30. I could not eat my breakfast at the hotel because it took about 20 minutes for it to arrive and then I had to take it in a to-go box to eat at my workshop. If I was given the correct information the evening before then I could have arrived earlier for breakfast and enjoyed it in peace and not rush. Other than that, everything else was very well done.
