Description
Kubu Khaya is a comfortably furnished self-catering unit for 10 people, situated in the Cyferfontein camp of Mabalingwe Nature Reserve and 12 km from central Bela-Bela.
The multi-storey lodge comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The second and third bedroom each contain a double as well as a single bed, and the fourth bedroom contains a double bed. The bathrooms are fitted with either a shower or a bath, a basin and a toilet. All linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or the dining table. A back-up inverter is available during load shedding.
Guests can relax in the lounge which opens onto the main deck, and is equipped with braai facilities, and a splash pool that overlooks the reserve. A pool table is also available for guests to use.
Secure parking is available for vehicles. In addition, the lodge has a dedicated self-drive game viewing vehicle, which guests can rent at an extra cost per day.
The resort also boasts a host of facilities and activities such as game drives, horseback game viewing, cold and heated swimming pools, and an outdoor spa.
