Kumbuk House is a charming wooden house offering self-catering accommodation in the picturesque town of Franschhoek. The home is the ideal base from which to explore the Winelands and Cape Town.
The tastefully furnished house can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a spacious living area with a kitchen. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed as well as a ceiling fan and underfloor heater and boasts lovely garden views from the bay window. Its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed and features bay windows with views of the back garden and pool. This room makes use of the adjacent bathroom which is fitted with a walk-in shower, washbasin, and toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, and microwave. The open-plan living area boasts a wood-burning fireplace, comfy couches as well as armchairs, and a dining table for 4 people. The house opens onto a verandah with ample seating areas where guests can unwind.
The north-facing backyard has a beautifully designed garden dotted with fruit trees and on hot summer days, guests can cool down in the swimming pool or simply relax poolside.
