La Sosta Guest House and Restaurant offers comfortable accommodation in a Cape Dutch-style house dating back to 1834. The house is set in a large garden with a swimming pool for guests enjoyment. The La Sosta Restaurant, one of Swellendam’s attractions, is just a short walk through the garden from the guest rooms.
Accommodation is offered in 6 en-suite rooms, 3 of the rooms are attached to the main house, and the other 3 newer rooms are located in another wing. The 3 newer rooms are well insulated, and have double-glazed windows and ceilings fans. Each room is equipped with individual heating, a TV with selected DStv channels, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer, magazines, and pure cotton linen. Each room has its own private entrance from the verandah, overlooking the garden and swimming pool.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant, and a dedicated menu is placed in the rooms so guests can order breakfast in advance. Guests can relax in the lounge, which has a fireplace, sofas to relax on, a TV, and complimentary magazines, books and information brochures. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lounge, on the verandahs, and in the 3 newer rooms.
