Description
Lali's Guest House is situated in a quiet, residential area at the foot of Platberg in the peaceful town of Harrismith, and offers comfortable accommodation in a beautiful Victorian-style house.
The house was built in the early 1940's with original Oregon pine floors and a real 'Grandma's charm'. It was later used as a Missionary house for the pastor of the local Dutch Reformed Church. The guest house is ideally located as a midway stop between Johannesburg and Durban.
Accommodation is offered in 6 guest rooms, each equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels, a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, rusks, wardrobe, desk, and an en-suite bathroom either a shower or bath. One of the rooms has a shower and a bath. Electric blankets and heaters are provided in every room, and 2 of the rooms are equipped for self-catering and include a mini-oven and 2-plate stove.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated to enhance the ambiance of the house. Three of the rooms open out to the delightful garden.
A full English/Irish or a vegetarian breakfast is provided at an additional cost.
