Description
Lekkerkry Game Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tranquil bushveld setting with several tame wildlife species roaming around freely.
We can also offer meals and bushbraais. Hamburger braai in the bush is to die for and very popular. Combine it with a gamedrive with our popular GEMAVIEWER accompanied by a gameranger, providing info about the animals and farm. You have to book the gamedrives extra, its not included. Available as a package with meals also.
Breakfast or lunch is also available on request at an extra cost.
The game farm is centrally located, 80 km from Johannesburg, 40 km from Potchefstroom, 50 km from the Vaal Triangle and 30 km from Parys.
This stylish thatched roof house consists of 4 bedrooms, Two main bedrooms with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, a third bedroom with a double bed plus a single bed and a fourth bedroom with a double bed.
Also a loft with single beds can be a fifth bedroom or open sleeping space for kids or a coulple. There is a sharing bathroom and a guest toilet. The house also consists of an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, stove, fridge and microwave. The living area has comfortable couches, a built-in fireplace and a TV with DStv. Leading out from the living area is a large patio with spectacular views of the surrounding bushveld. Outside is an open-air boma area, offering guests a relaxing atmosphere in the bushveld and a swimming pool perfect for those hot days.
Packages include the use of the JACUZZI for 5.
The jacuzzi is available for free for bookinfs above a certain amount. Please confirm when you make your booking. Otherwise its available as an extra.
Activities available on the farm include game drives, hiking and mountain biking. Wildlife on the farm includes kudu, blue wildebeest, black wildebeest, golden wildbeast, letchwe, black springbuck, eland, impala, springbuck, red hartebeest, nyalas, zebras, giraffe, roans, sable, wild goats, waterbuck and even some monkeys and bush pigs.
Parys and the Vredefort Dome with its fascinating shops, restaurants and pubs are just 20 minutes drive away.
We want to make it an experience to remember and are willing to go out of the way to spend personal time on the farm.
About 13 km away is Fochville with one of the best supermarkets in the country if you have to buy some groceries and more.
We also offer a GLAMPING EXPERIENCE TO DIE FOR on the farm under the name of KOLOBE LUXURY SAFARITENT. Its located in the bush next to a waterwhole where visitors can have the ultimate "nature sleep in the bush" experience.
