With the Groot Marico River on your doorstep, Madikwe River Lodge offers a front-row seat to a unique bushveld experience where guests can view Africa’s most beautiful wildlife. For the full experience, the lodge offers game drives twice a day, guided bush walks, and more than enough quiet nooks to kick back and soak up the scenery.

This lodge offers a choice of either 9 Deluxe River Chalets, 6 Deluxe River Family Chalets and 1 Luxury River Chalet which can all accommodate 2 guests at a time. These chalets are either furnished with a double bed or single beds, depending on the guests’ requirements. Each chalet has a bathroom fitted with either a bath or a shower.

Other in-room amenities include a bar fridge as well as a tea and coffee tray. Additionally, these chalets have a private wooden deck with a table and chairs which is an ideal spot for a morning coffee while overlooking the surrounding bushveld.

The lodge also spoils with boma dinners and bush breakfasts. Guests can fully relax at the main lodge as there is a sparkling swimming pool with lovely sun loungers right next to the river.
