Description
Manzikhanya Lodge is located on a working farm between Fort Beaufort (KwaMaqoma) and Makhanda (Grahamstad) off the R67, and is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to get away together.
The lodge can accommodate 6 adults and 4-6 children and is powered by a solar power system and comprises 3 thatched-roof bungalows that can each accommodate 4 people, and a thatched main building which consists of a kitchen, and a dining area, and 2 lounges.
Each of the bungalows is furnished with a double bed and a child’s bed. Moreover, a child's mattress can also be arranged before arrival. Two of the bungalows each have a bathroom with a bath and a shower, and the third bungalow has a shower only. Guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.
The communal kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge, a gas stove and oven, and hot water is provided by a wood-fired donkey water heater. A dining area is available, and braai facilities are available in the separate lapa. Wi-Fi access is also available.
The farm offers walking and cycling routes, and guests will have the opportunity to see zebras, kudus and warthogs.
