Matatane Camp invites guests to a bush experience that captures the essence of the African wilderness. Spread across 130 hectares of malaria-free wilderness, the camp is safely enclosed, ensuring a risk-free encounter with dangerous game.

Guests can enjoy a range of activities, including walking trails, obstacle courses, and the multi-platform zipline, offering views of the White Umfolozi River and its diverse wildlife, from zebras and wildebeests to impalas and kudus, accompanied by vibrant bird species.

Accommodation is offered in standard rooms, family rooms, and structured tents. The lodge offers guests a tented camp and a choice of tent chalets that can accommodate between 2 to 3 people. Each unit includes extra bedding, a fan, a desk and chair, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Communal facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with a TV, a boma with braai facilities, and 2 swimming pools.
