Millwood Manor an established old farmhouse, was originally built in the late 1800s and is nestled in the heart of the Angora goat farming community of Klipplaat, in the Eastern Cape. This charming farmhouse offers the perfect accommodation for large groups and family gatherings.
With 7 spacious rooms that can sleep up to 28 people, Millwood Manor provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for your next getaway.
There is a generously sized lounge area, perfect for relaxing and socializing. The separate dining room features a table which is able to seat up to 14 guests, and a hostess trolley ensures that your meals remain warm.
The fully equipped kitchen offers a freezer, a fridge, a microwave, an electric stove and oven, a toaster, a kettle, an electric frying pan, a sandwich toaster, a gas stove, a filter coffee machine as well as an array of pots and pans. Braai enthusiasts will appreciate the potjie pots, braai dishes, braai grids, and tongs at their disposal. Ample dishes and utensils cater to the convenience of preparing food for large groups, with more than 30 pieces of crockery and cutlery available. Additionally, Millwood Manor boasts an outdoor entertainment area, allowing you to soak up the natural beauty of the surroundings while enjoying quality time with your loved ones.
The house is equipped with Eskom power and hot water, in case of power outages, lamps and gas cookers are provided. Load shedding bulbs are placed strategically in the house and fresh rainwater is provided for drinking. Please note that the area is serviced by a Vodacom tower and data usage may be slow. There is no Wi-Fi or TV available at Millwood Manor, allowing you to truly disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings.
At Millwood Manor, the host provides a range of family-oriented recreational activities such as cycling, birding, walking, trail running as well as a variety of pre-booked activities, ensuring that your time here is both memorable and budget-friendly.
