Great stay!

We had a great time exploring the beautiful West Coast from Grotto Bay. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, the apartment was simple, clean and well equipped. Amazing sunsets!

Ons verblyf was baie lekker en die plekkie was mooi ingerig en netjies. Bo verwagting.

Lovely couple that host this accommodation. The offering is fair value. Excellent little touches like sweets and snacks for the kids and adults, and 5 litres of drinking water upon your arrival. I would stay here for a weekend. The village is quiet and there are not many people up and about (except between 5 and 7 pm). The accommodation has all the basics. The hosts kindly undertook a load of washing for us, for which we are indebted. There is a curfew for the beach; got to be back at home by 8 pm at the latest, because of poachers in the greater area. The stairs to the upper bed are tricky and require careful footwork; under 3 and the elderly will struggle; this mattress is good. The mattresses on the ground floor need attention. Other: The sandy beach is a 15-20 min walk away and there are no amenities or facilities in the village - absolutely nothing, except for courteous neighbours and security. You have to go to Yzzies or Melkbos for food, restaurants and a decent beach. The beach/surf is not safe for toddlers nor weak swimmers. WiFi was OK, but spotty.

Vriendelik liefdevolle - vrugte van die Heilige Gees mense.

Ek gaan beslis weer. Ek wou net oornag - maar die omgewing het my moeë gees en liggaam goed gedoen - absoluut veilig en besorgsaam. Dit is selfsorg - met 'n vriendelike heerlike warm koffie, tee en beskuit - platinum diens. Blessings vir hulle - altyd.

Lieflike plek, pynlik netjies.

Dankie Alet vir jou gasvryheid. Ons het dit geniet. Die plek is gerieflik netjies, niks kort. Baie rustig. Nie ver van slaap.

Wonderlike Weskus-plekkie.

Grotto Bay bied mens 'n Weskus-ervaring minder as 'n uur se ry van die Kaap af. Dit is 'n pragtige vakansieplek en nie so rumoerig as Langebaan ens. nie. Molly Hawk Place is die ideale plek om daar tuis te gaan. Skoon, netjies, stapafstand van die see af en Dan en Alta is sekerlik van die beste gashere was ek al ooit teëgekom het. Was 'n heerlike ervaring.

Had an awesome relaxing time. Hospitality was excellent. All our needs were provided for.

Clean, neat and tidy with a very comfy bed and nice big shower. Close to the beach.

Gasvryheid op sy beste.

Die eienaars doen regtig moeite om dit so huislik as moontlik te maak. Die woonstel is pynlik netjies en die stilte is 'n bonus.

Beautiful and serene

My stay was just the tonic I need to shed stress. It was beautifully furnished and a serene environment. Dan and Alta were awesome hosts and were able to help me with one or two items I had neglected to bring with me.

Baie lekker gebly.

Heerlike, stil omgewing en 'n klipgooi van die see. Die geruis van branders is lafenis vir die siel. Akkommodasie is baie netjies en goed ingerig. Alta en Dan het ons welkom laat voel. Gasvryheid word baie waardeer.

The hospitality at Molly Hawk Place was priceless. On arrival up to the end of our stay we felt at home. Nearer to "mother nature" you won't get. Danny and Alta, thank you once again for making us feel special. God Bless you.

This was just a quick getaway for 2 nights. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility.

It was a very homey little guesthouse attached to a main house. The hots were very hospitable. It was very quiet and peaceful and in walking distance to the pebble beach.

There are not enough stars available to give. They went out of their way to make sure we had a West Coast Christmas to remember.

Accommodation was clean as a whistle, everything you need for a beach break was readily available and the hosts were extremely accommodating and kind in every way. Salt of the earth!

Wonderful getaway.

Perfect getaway, so close to Cape Town, great accommodation, miles of unspoilt, uninhabited coastline. Very hospitable hosts, all we could need in the unit. We'll be back - as would anyone who'd been there! Safe environment for kids.

Beautiful and peaceful at Grotto Bay

Alta displays what it is to be hospitable. The little things that make a difference like having chocolate`s on the bed and milk in the fridge. Also her knowledge of the Grotto Bay

Naweekverblyf in Molly Hawk Place om na die blomme in die omgewing te kyk.

In ons poging om geskikte verblyf te vind in die omgewing van Darling om blomme te kyk, het ons op verblyf in Molly Hawk Place afgekom. Die omgewing is fantasties en baie veilig. Die verblyf was egter nie 100% wat ons verwag het nie. Dit is definitief nie geskik vir meer as twee grootmense nie. Die steil trappe na die boonste vlak is definitief nie vir bejaarde mense nie en behoort uitgelig te word. Die gashere was aanvanklik wonderlik vriendelik en behulpsaam, maar alles het die laaste dag met ons vertrek verander met 'n onverklaarbare angstigheid van ons gashere af dat ons sou vertrek sonder om ons rekening te vereffen. Dit het 'n bietjie van 'n slegte smaak gelaat en ons soos skelms laat voel.
