Description
Mountain View is situated in Zastron in the Free State and offers quality accommodation, ideally suited for families or large groups. The accommodation is located at the foot of the Vulture Mountain and is a haven for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The lodge also hosts a colony of vultures, making it ideal for nature photographers and birdwatchers.
The lodge comprises 9 separate units, each with a lovely view of the mountain. The units are all equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, a TV and private entrance.
There is also 12 campsites with a water- and electricity point at every spot. Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons. There are clean and convenient ablution facilities with warm water. Guests also have access to a communal entertainment area with a TV with DStv.
There is a walking trail on the property on which guests can take a stroll to admire the rich bird life. The property is fenced.
Mountain View is also used as a base camp for guests that go on the Orange River rafting tours to the southern parts of Lesotho and the mountain passes towards Lady Grey, Sterkspruit and Rhodes.
