Nerf-af Cottage and Rooms offers luxury accommodation in Onrusriver, a coastal enclave in the picturesque Overberg region. Located on a seaside strip, mere minutes from Hermanus, Onrusrivier is nestled between mountains, rivers, lagoons, and the turquoise ocean. It is close to the well-known Hemel en Aarde valley, the Whale Coast Mall and famous restaurants in the nearby area.
Nerf - Af Cottage & Rooms offers accommodation in a newly built, modern House and Cottage. There are 2 private en-suite rooms in the main house - the king's, and the queen's en-suite. The main house has 2 bathrooms, 1 is fitted with only a shower while the second bathroom has both a bath and a shower. The King's Room has a bathroom with a shower and the Queen's Room has a shower-over-bath. Each bedroom has its own private entrance and patio.
The tastefully furnished cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed while the second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The lounge has 2 daybeds and is ideal for a child.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, electric oven and fridge. A dishwasher is available for larger families. The lounge has a fireplace and a comfy lounge suite. The dining area has a 6-seater dining table. The cottage has a TV with DStv, Wi-Fi and a patio with a braai area. There is a public children's playground located next to the house which is easily accessible from the premises.
These 2 luxury en-suite rooms in the main house, are each uniquely furnished and each has a private entrance and its own bathroom and patio. Ideal for a romantic getaway for 2 people. Guests have a view of the private garden and mountain from the veranda. These two rooms can be booked with the cottage, making it suitable for larger groups of 10.
Onrus has a popular coastal route next to the sea and lagoon as well as winding footpaths. The famous Davie's and Jan Rabe rock pools is a popular swim and snorkelling spots.
Onrus's Blue Flag beach attracts thousands of surfers from all over the world. Other nearby activities include whale-watching, cage diving with sharks, fishing, bike-riding, wine tasting, and hiking trails.
Hermanus is 5 km away from Onrus River. Here you'll find many more popular restaurants and wine-tasting opportunities in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Art forms a big part of this coastline.
