Description

Onrus Mountain Escape is a charming self-catering home located on the mountainside in Onrus River. The home boasts picturesque views of the town, mountains, and the sea, and it is situated approximately 3 km from Onrus Beach and 7 km from central Hermanus, which offers an array of popular whale-watching spots to visit.

This property can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms and an outdoor shower. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed. The main en-suite bathroom is fitted with both a bath and shower, while the second bathroom has only a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, gas oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, and a dishwasher. Guests can enjoy a meal at the dining table or relax on one of the comfortable couches in the lounge. For guest entertainment, a TV with DStv channels and access to free Wi-Fi are available. There is an inverter that will run the TV and Wi-Fi in case of power outages.

Additionally, this home has a covered patio with an indoor fireplace and seating, ideal for relaxation. Outside, guests can enjoy a wood-fired hot tub and fire pit, surrounded by the sea, mountains, and wine farms.

Guests can visit the various nature reserves, explore the walking, hiking, and cycling paths, play a round of golf at Hermanus Golf Club, or go wine tasting in the Hemel en Aarde wine route.
