Description
The Prawn Hatchery is located in Ongoye, KwaZulu Natal, and is situated on an old prawn breeding farm on a lagoon, overlooking a deserted beach and nature reserve. It is a perfect getaway for those seeking a vacation away from the city life.
The Overlander Camp offers guests the use of a shelter and a shared wood-fired hot tub. The campsite can accommodate 12 guests and has space for 3 vehicles. There is also a water tap and plug-point. Guests need to bring their own lights, camping and cooking equipment. Guests can make use of the ablution facilities No1 that is fitted with a shower and toilet.
Activities available to guests on the property include fly-fishing, line-cast fishing, bird watching, hiking and mountain biking. The accommodation also has additional units on the premises.
