The off-the-grid self-catering home can comfortably accommodate 8 guests in the main house and the courtyard cottage, both constructed from the distinctive Pelindaba Elephant Rock stone found in the area. The property features a well-maintained indigenous garden, complete with a pool. Built-in braai facilities and outdoor furniture further enhance the unique charm of this beautiful retreat.
The main house can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and boasts a beautifully decorated en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. The second bedroom with 2 single beds and the third bedroom with a queen-size bed share a bathroom with a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet; across the passage.
The living area features a cosy kitchen equipped with cutlery, crockery, a gas stove, kettle and fridge-freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is an 8-seater dining table, leading seamlessly into an open-plan lounge with a fireplace and comfortable seating.
The rustic cottage, tucked away across a neighbouring stone courtyard with a captivating rock feature, offers accommodation for 2 guests. It consists of 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet.
Guests can relax in the lush garden to the sounds of local birdlife and the gentle flow of the nearby river. Those seeking adventure are welcome to hike up to the top of the hill directly behind the house, offering breathtaking views of Rhenosterkop Mountain, the Crocodile River and valley.
