Description
Phumangeni Marloth Park is a beautiful bush cottage situated in Marloth Park, a short drive of 20 km to the Crocodile Bridge gate of the Kruger National Park. Bordering on parkland, Phumangeni Marloth Park ensures total privacy and a real bush experience, with many 4-legged visitors.
Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms, a living and dining area and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The first bedroom features 2 single beds and the second room boasts a double bed. Both bedrooms and the living area are fitted with an air-conditioner. The double-bed sleeper couch in the living area can accommodate 2 guests. All bed linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are requested to bring their own swimming towels.
A fully equipped self-catering kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, microwave, stove, and oven, electric frying pan, kettle, and toaster. All cutlery, crockery, and utensils are provided. Guests can also sit at the 4-seater dining room table.
This house comes equipped with a TV, uncapped Wi-Fi, My Family Cinema, and Netflix. Guests are welcome to use their own login details on the DStv Stream app.
The large ground-floor porch has a built-in braai and a splash pool. Guests can unwind on the first or second floor of the two-story viewing deck on the side of the house. The top floor offers distant views of Kruger Park, making it a perfect spot for evening drinks or morning coffee.
Phumangeni Marloth Park is safe with burglar bars and gates and an alarm system and panic button connected to a local security company with armed response.
The property is well-prepared for South African power outages. It has solar panels, an inverter, and a battery backup system. Additionally, there's a Jojo tank with a pump for backup water.
Many different animals like giraffes, zebras, warthogs, kudus, duikers, wildebeests, and birds often visit the area. The bush babies are a delight for everyone. Sometimes, guests can spot zebras or kudus having a drink at the swimming pool and watering hole. If you're interested, you can purchase game pellets for the animals at the nearby shops in Marloth Park.
Marloth Park has many restaurants, bird hides, 2 supermarkets, a home industry, a liquor store, and 2 butcheries. Additionally, there's a water park and a putt-putt course for kids to enjoy when they're not exploring nature.
