Plaas Wegbreek offers accommodation in self-catering cottages on a fruit farm along the R44, just 7 km from Barrydale, on Route 62. Guests can experience the serenity and safety of a Klein Karoo fruit farm. There are several scenic walking trails on the farm. Bring your bikes and explore the farm, or your fishing rod and come and catch fish in the dam.
The farm offers accommodation in 3 units. Appelhuis is a beautiful, old stone cottage that can accommodate 7 guests, surrounded by orchards and mountains in the Doorn River Valley. Die Withuis is ideal for 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and boasts views over the orchards. The rustic Damhuis, a wooden cottage that can accommodate 4 guests, is situated on the edge of a large dam. Each unit has its own well-equipped kitchen and braai area.
Pets are welcome by arrangement, and secure parking is available.
This serves as an ideal base for exploring Barrydale and Route 62’s many attractions, including fishing, wine tasting, cycling, game viewing, guided walks, and mountain biking.
