Description

Platkop-Veldhuisie is situated on a working farm that is located a mere 10 km from the quaint town of Riverdale.

This solar-powered farmhouse comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom is fitted with a double bed. The second bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds. In the living area is an additional single bed, ideal for a child. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and has a gas geyser.

The open living area has comfortable couches, a single bed and a dining area with a 6-seater dining room table. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, a bar fridge and a kettle.

The house leads out onto a covered veranda with braai facilities, where guests can enjoy views over the fields and the Langeberg mountain range. The Veldhuisie is in a camp with zebras and springbucks.

On the farm, guests can enjoy the hiking and mountain biking trails as well as a visit to dairy and sheep farm.
