Description

Point Lodge is ideally situated at the edge of the Knysna lagoon where tranquil water laps at the garden wall during high tide. Relax at the sparkling pool while watching many bird species in the garden and on the adjacent wetlands. The cosy dining room, lounge and ‘honesty’ bar have fireplaces and spectacular views of the Knysna Heads and across the lagoon.

A delicious full English and continental breakfast is served in the dining room. For evening dining there are many excellent restaurants in Knysna at which we will happily make reservations on our guest’s behalf.

We have nine individually decorated bedrooms, six lagoon facing, either from the room or private patio, and three garden facing rooms. All rooms are equipped with television, radioclock, hairdryer, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. All bedrooms are non-smoking, but most have patios to accommodate smokers.

Point Lodge is the perfect base to explore the surrounding indigenous forests and trails, the spectacular Featherbed Nature Reserve and the beautiful lakes and beaches nearby. Golf courses in the area include the spectacular Pezula and Simola estate courses as well as the popular Knysna Golf Club. There are at least an additional six courses within an hour’s drive.

We have an extensive supply of information at our reception, and will gladly make reservations for guests on any of the local activities. Whether seeking relaxation or an active holiday, we will do all we can to ensure you have the perfect holiday!
