Poplar Grove is a pet-friendly campsite situated along the Magaliesburg River in Magaliesburg, offering a tranquil escape for guests seeking a holiday away.
Stands 1 and 2 are suitable for trailer tents, camper vans, and caravans, featuring a braai and boma as well as concrete tables and benches. Stands 3 and 4 are suitable for tent use only and also include a braai and boma, concrete tables, and benches. There is no parking at these stands; cars must be parked in the designated parking area. Stands 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are suitable for tent use only and do not have tables, chairs, or braais. Guests will be required to bring these items along with them. The communal ablution facilities are powered by gas geysers and solar lights and are fitted with showers, toilets, and basins.
The campsite also features a glamping cottage that sleeps 2, furnished with a double bed, bedding, cutlery, crockery, a braai and boma, as well as a screened garden and concrete table with benches. There is no private bathroom, but it is situated close to the communal ablution facilities.
The location offers views of the mountains and forest, bordering a lovely river with a swimming hole for both guests and dogs. Guests can enjoy the sound of rushing water and fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the river, a true pleasure of nature.
