Description
Porcupine Ridge offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tastefully furnished and well-appointed home, situated in Eastford Glen in Knysna. The house offers beautiful views of the green belt, river, and onward towards the Knysna Estuary. The eco-estate offers a variety of nature trails to explore.
The house can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and opens onto the verandah. It has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, bath, and heated towel rails. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a toilet, shower, bath, and heated towel rails. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan to keep cool in the summer. There is a separate guest toilet. Linen and towels are provided, but guests must bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area comprises a comfy lounge with a fireplace, a kitchen, a separate scullery with a dishwasher, and a dining area. This area opens through stacking doors to the verandah, which spans the front of the whole house. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, wine fridge, electric oven, gas and electric stove combination, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and cutlery and crockery. There is a TV with full DStv channels in the lounge, and complimentary Wi-Fi is provided.
The washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the garage, and there is space for 1 small vehicle. Guests are welcome to use the stand-up paddle board and 2 kids Vaya kayaks. There is a UPS available, which will kick in to power the TV, Wi-Fi, and lights should there be load shedding. The verandah is covered and has built-in braai facilities and seating for guests.
