Description
Rivendell is a self-catering holiday home located in Umkomaas offering easy access to the river and the beach. The property is ideally located to make your family's vacation comfortable and memorable in classic style.
This accommodation comprises a 2 bedroom house and a 1 bedroom flat that is located on the same fenced property. The main air-conditioned bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed, air-conditioning, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery as well as a pantry. There is a washing room that includes a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The kitchen leads to a spacious dining room with a large dining table for family meals.
The living room has comfortable couches, a pool table, fireplace and a TV with DStv. Wi-Fi is available. Through the stacking doors, there is a deck with outdoor furniture and a splash pool for guests to cool off.
The separate flat features a mezzanine furnished with 2 single beds as well as a living area, kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. This is ideal for Grandpa and Grandma or teenagers wanting to be left alone.
Guests especially enjoy the fire pit braai next to the patio which offers the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the afternoon sea view in the garden over a cocktail or two and later on a braai. The large outdoor table on the patio offers the opportunity for guests to enjoy al fresco meals in the shade of the large trees.
Vehicles are parking safely on the premises where they cannot be seen from the street and there is an electric gate that keeps the house private.
It is very close to the Umkomaas diving operators and the Umkomaas Golf Course. You almost don't need a car. It is also only a few minutes' drive from the beautiful Scottburgh beach and the shopping centres in Scottburgh. The Galleria Mall in Amanzimtoti is just 15 minutes away.
