Nestled amidst the lush forest, River Cabin offers a serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. This charming off-the-grid wooden cabin, located just 13.7 km away from Sedgefield, is perfect for families or friends seeking a cosy retreat. This wooden cabin is close to the river.
This property can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms are fitted with double beds and spacious cupboards, while the third loft room boasts 2 single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided.
There is a loo with a view separate from the house as well as a bath and basin that offers a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful view of the river.
The inviting open-plan living area boasts a fully equipped kitchen complete with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. A 4-seater dining table leads off from the kitchen, and a cosy lounge area with comfortable couches is centered around a cozy fireplace perfect for those chilly winter evenings. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
Beyond the living area, a spacious deck provides breathtaking views of the river and surroundings. Here, guests can relax and unwind while enjoying the tranquility of the forest. A little boat and fishing rods are available, while braai facilities and firewood are provided.
The house has a fireplace for the winter and enough wood is supplied for this as well. The house is brand-new, secluded, private, and safe.
River Cabin is entirely self-sufficient, offering solar panels, and a backup generator that provides electricity and it is therefore not affected by loadshedding.
