Description

Rivers End Farm is situated on the banks of the Klein River Lagoon in a bird sanctuary and is located just 7 km from Stanford. Accommodation is provided in a luxury self-catering log cabin and a classic camper van.

The main cabin can accommodate 8 guests and consists of 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with either a double bed or 2 children’s bunk beds which can accommodate 4 kids. The bathrooms are fitted with a toilet, bath, shower and wash basin. The lounge is equipped with selected DStv channels and opens onto the deck which overlooks the surrounding areas. This unit also has a KolKol wood-fried hot tub.

The black eagle bus is a classic camper that can accommodate 2 guests and consists of a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and wash basin. The sleeping area is fitted with a double bed and a sleeper couch for a child. The camper also makes use of solar power. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge, stove and oven, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. All linen and bath towels are provided.

Rainfall throughout the year is not very consistent, and the water levels change at will. This means the cabin will overlook a massive body of water for paddling or canoeing or a dried-up pan that guests can explore on foot. The accommodation has additional campsites on the premises.
