This house as is, is not suitable for renting out as holiday accommodation.

The house inside was okay, but the garden and pool are a mess. The pool was green when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. We were told chemicals had been put in the pool. On Monday, the pool was still green, so we could not swim, and I specifically rented this house for the pool. Luckily, we are South African and know about pools, so my husband backwashed the pool and emptied the full filter basket. The pool turned blue only on Tuesday. There are pool chemical containers lying open in the garden - see photos. The garden furniture on the deck was completely rusted and broken, so we had to bring chairs down from the house to sit on - see photo. Open electrical wiring was coming out of the pool lights - see photo. Kitchen utensils - no bread knife or steak knives - kettle and toaster old and grimy - see photos.
