Ruined for Life is a charming self-catering home located on a farm in Limpopo. It is ideal for a large family or group wanting to escape the busy city life.
This property can accommodate up to 12 guests and consists of a main house and an adjoining dorm-style unit. The main house features 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is comfortably furnished with a king-size bed and a single bed and includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom also contains a king-size bed and a single bed and uses a separate bathroom fitted with a shower. The dorm-style unit has 6 single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. This unit also includes an outdoor bath and toilet, supplied with hot water by a donkey boiler. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The main house features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and a fridge-freezer. The lounge and dining area offer comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax. For entertainment, a TV and free Wi-Fi access are available.
The home opens onto a covered patio with outdoor seating and a built-in braai. Additionally, a boma is available for guests to enjoy. The dorm also has a boma and outdoor seating, offering views over the quarry.
Guests can take a walk around the farm and see wildlife, including kudu, nyala, redbuck, bushbuck, red-ribbed buck, warthog, wild boar, civet, tiger bush cat, and muskelljaat cat. They can also have a braai at the dam or in the forest. Seasonal fishing is allowed for kurper, catfish, and black bass.
