Description
Sacred Ibis is a charming self-catering house situated Situated on the banks of the Vaal River, between Sasolburg & Vanderbijlpark, near Stonehaven on the Vaal. This beautiful river-front retreat is less than an hour's drive from Johannesburg and is suitable for the whole family.
This house can accommodate up to 16 guests and comprises 6 bedrooms. The first bedroom is a kiddies room furnished with 4 single beds and a cot. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The fourth and fifth bedrooms 2 single beds, while the sixth and seventh bedroom has a double bed. The sixth room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower, and the guest bathroom is fitted with a bath. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is open-plan to the lounge and equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It features a centrally located dining table, a washing machine, and a dishwasher for guests’ convenience. The lounge has comfy couches and a TV. DStv is available but needs to be arranged and at an extra cost, or, guests can bring their own card with them.
At the back of the house, a large communal area awaits with plenty of space to play, walk, or cycle. There is also a large dam which provides scenic views. Guests are afforded parking on the premises and can take a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool. A private jacuzzi is available on request.
