Description

SandyPaws is a comfortably furnished self-catering apartment for 4 people in Gouritsmond.

Located on the premises of the main house, the second-floor apartment has a private entrance, and comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the second bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower, basin and a toilet. For convenience, linen and blankets are provided, and guests need to bring their own towels.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-plate mini stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.

Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with Openview and has a view of the ocean. Please note that there is no DStv, and guests are welcome to bring their own DStv decoder, power cable and remote control, but free Wi-Fi is available.

The outdoor braai facilities have a grid available in the entertainment area and a shaded parking space under a canopy is provided as well as a table and chairs.

Please note the stairs to the unit. Elderly and guests with disabilities in particular may find this problematic.

The apartment has a solar backup system in case of power outages.

SandyPaws is just 500 from the river and 900 m from the beach. Visitors to Gouritsmond can go walking on the beach, visit the tidal pool, go fishing, surf, or watch the whales between July and November.
