Seas the Day is a charming, self-catering beachfront property located in the Langezandt Fisherman’s Village Estate, Struisbaai, offering uninterrupted sea views and direct access to the main beach, making it an ideal place for a family holiday.
This property accommodates up to 10 guests and comprises a main house and an adjoining cottage. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, while the cottage features 1 en-suite bedroom. The first and second bedrooms are upstairs. The first bedroom is comfortably furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. Both bedrooms open onto a sea-facing balcony. The remaining 2 bedrooms are downstairs. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower and have access to the enclosed courtyard. The cottage bedroom has a queen-size bed, and its bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. Linen is provided; however, guests are required to bring their own bath and beach towels.
The home features a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. A fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washer-dryer combo are available in the adjoining scullery. The lounge and dining areas offer ample comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and there is a cosy fireplace. For entertainment, a TV with DStv channels and Netflix is available in the TV room, as well as in some of the bedrooms. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided.
The home boasts 2 outdoor braai and dining areas, one overlooking the sea and the other in the spacious courtyard, both have comfortable outdoor seating. Additionally, guests can enjoy an enclosed garden. Secure onsite parking is available, and the property is equipped with solar power, ensuring guests are not affected by power outages.
Struisbaai is home to the longest uninterrupted beach in the southern hemisphere and is a hotspot for fishermen, surfers, and kite surfers. The property is also a short drive from Cape Agulhas, a popular tourist attraction and the southernmost tip of Africa.
