Description
Selati Safari Lodge is nestled in the untamed wilderness of Tzaneen, a mere 45-minute drive from the Kruger National Park and close to the Blyde River Canyon, located in the Selati Game Reserve. The reserve stretches over 30 000 hectares of pristine wilderness with the Selati River running through it.
The Luxury Tents are carefully positioned under the Mopani tree canopy and comprise 2 single beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed on request. It has an en-suite, outdoor shower as well as a toilet and basin. The tents feature coffee- and tea-making facilities and guests have Wi-Fi access during their stay. The beds are wrapped in quality linen and towels are supplied for guests' convenience.
Selati is a Big-5 reserve and is also home to Sable Antelope, White and Black Rhino as well as the rarest cycad on the planet. Guests will find a rich and diverse geological history with the Murchison Greenstone belt in the north-west of the reserve that contains the oldest rock formations on earth. The rest of the reserve is made up of 3 different granite and pegmatite formations.
Selati Game Reserve prides itself on being one of the reserves with the lowest carbon print in the Greater Kruger Region.
