Description
South Sands Beach Villa Nr 1 is a self-catering holiday unit in a security complex situated in the small South Coast village of Munster, Glenmore Beach. The unit offers uninterrupted views of the ocean from the deck and on some days, one can spot a dolphin or even a whale splashing around in the ocean.
The unit accommodates 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath. The main bedroom is located on the top floor. The bottom floor comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 with 2 single beds and the other with 2 single beds as well as a bunk bed. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower-over-bath. Both rooms walk out onto a bottom patio.
The top floor of the unit comprises a well-equipped kitchen and a living area. The living area and the main bedroom lead out onto the wooden deck with great ocean views. The kitchen is equipped with 2 fridge-freezers, a stove, microwave, a kettle, airfryer, crockery and cutlery. The unit has a smart TV with Netflix, Showmax and DStv Premium. The unit is equipped with a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a dishwasher, a portable Weber braai and a safe for laptops and firearms. The unit has a much needed air-con in the lounge area which will also cool the main bedroom.
Uncapped Wi-Fi and router on UPS - in case of load shedding the router will remain on. Battery back-up will also keep the TV and a light on in the lounge. Emergency load shedding bulbs are installed in all bedrooms as well as outside solar lights. The complex has water tanks to supply water if need be.
There are ceiling fans in the lounge and all bedrooms. A baby safety gate is available to keep little ones safe on stairs. A cleaning service can be arranged at an additional cost.
The beach is only 40 m from the gate and the main swimming beach is about 100 m from unit. The main beach is child friendly and is protected by shark nets. Life savers during peak times. There is a beautiful, natural hiking trail on the other side of the lagoon with a majestic view of sea and beaches on both sides. You are allowed to fish in this area if you have a fishing permit, so bring along your fishing gear.
The complex is very secure and equipped with an electric fence. The unit has been fitted with an alarm system which is connected to armed response, security doors, outside solar lights and emergency bulbs in all rooms.
Please note, that the accommodation is accessed via stairs, and not suitable for the elderly, or guests with disabilities. The unspoiled view is worth every step.
