Description
Star Tree Lodge is a charming self-catering house situated on Deberas Guest Farm, located in the lower Orange River Valley, also know as the Lost Valley of Precious Stones. It offers scenic viewpoints of the valley which is framed by the 1000 m Nama Plateau.
This house has a low energy cooling system that maintains a comfortable temperature in summer and has a sleeping capacity of 4 guests. It comprises 2 tastefully furnsihed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, and vanity basin, and opens up to an outdoor shower. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a centrally located dining table where meals can be enjoyed. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy couches.
The covered patio overlooks the private splash pool and guests can enjoy a lovely braai outdoors. Secure parking is available to guests. Renewable energy is used for the cooling system, refrigeration, and lighting, while gas is provided for heating and cooking.
Guided tours can be booked to explore the spectacular desert landscape, and the entrance gate to the Augrabies Falls National Park is roughly 50 km from the farm.
