Stonehill River Lodge is set amidst the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains and surrounded by fynbos, milkwood and giant aloes on the banks of the mystical Breede River.
The lodge boasts 5 villas with 4 bedrooms and 6 villas with 2 bedrooms. The 2-bedroom villas are equipped with Jacuzzi's and some with lofts.
Please note that the lodge is on a farm, within the mountains, and as such, the access roads to reach the lodge must be driven along slowly, to avoid damage to vehicles.
Stonehill River Lodge is approximately 240 km from Cape Town and halfway to George on the Garden Route. It is situated in the Overberg, a stone's throw from Swellendam, the third oldest magisterial district in South Africa. The lodge is an ideal base to explore the historic town of Swellendam and surrounding nature reserves as well as wine-, brandy- and art routes.
