Description
The Bend Country House is one of 22 established, free-standing homes on a 600-hectare Trout and Nature Estate offering fresh air, scenic walks, trout fishing, and mountain biking. It is ideal for large groups, conferences, or family reunions, and is situated 12 km outside Nottingham Road on the Loteni Road and a further 4 km along a gravel road.
The main bedroom is stylishly furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, basin, and separate toilet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the fifth bedroom have 2 single beds. These 2 bedrooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet. The sixth bedroom has a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath. The seventh and eighth bedroom are each furnished with a queen-size bed and has en-suite bathrooms, fitted with a bath, shower, and shower-over-bath, respectively. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a centrally located dining table with chairs. The lounge is furnished with comfy seating space and has a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. It expands to a spacious dining area, with various dining spaces, perfect for entertaining. For entertainment purposes, there’s also a built-in bar area, with a TV, and additional couches.
The Bend Country House is built alongside a beautiful stretch of the Mooi River and offers river tubing, deep pools, and dams. Guests can enjoy fly-fishing at the dams. This property also offers up to 20 km of mountain bike and hiking trails, as well as Paddle Courts. Guests can see Zebras and Blesbok roam freely on the estate.
