The House at Glengariff is a self-catering, rustic yet charming home, located in open farmland with spectacular views. It is situated on a working cattle, sheep, and maize farm in the Southern Drakensberg area.
The house is an ideal tranquil retreat for a group of 10 persons, and comprises 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom features an en-suite bathroom; 4 of the bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the fifth bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The house features a spacious living and dining area, each with a fireplace.
The TV lounge has a TV with selected DStv channels, and opens onto a large verandah where guests can enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and take in the views. The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen contains the necessary appliances to cook meals in. The house offers security, parking space, and the property is fenced so it is safe for children to play and your well-behaved dogs to play in.
The House at Glengariff is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, and guests can discover a range of flora, fauna and farm animals. The property is a bird watchers paradise as well; you can often hear the cry of the Fish eagle and view the variety of wild birds and waterfowl.
For those guests that prefer to fly in, an airstrip is located on the farm, which guests can with the host before arrival.
