The Nantucket Guest House is situated in Hermanus, the land based whale watching capitol of the world, a mere 90 minutes’ drive from Cape Town in South Africa.This affordable, luxurious destination offers unique biodiversity with a variety of outdoor and adventure activities.

We offer 7 themed en-suite bedrooms with sea or mountain views, satellite TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, some rooms present private patios, swimming pool and private library.

Some of the rooms offers private balconies, and visitors to Nantucket can revel in the antics of the southern right whales in season, or indulging in crayfish fresh in one of the fine restaurants. Sip a local wine from one of our five wine routes such as the Hermanus Wine Route in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley. Bask on the sun-drenched pool deck in the shadow of the majestic mountain, or have enjoy a true South African barbeque on the patio where you can watch the African sun sinks into the Atlantic Ocean.

Activities include boat based whale watching, shark cage diving, hiking in botanical gardens, birding, interactive cultural experiences, wine tasting on one of our five local wine routes, visiting a local gourmet cheese farm and another million unforgettable experiences.
