Description
The Old School House is a spacious free-standing three-bedroomed house on The River Farm in a secluded valley 14km outside of Calitzdorp. This house stands alone on a hill overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains.
It can accommodate 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. Two of which are double and the third room has 2 adult bunk beds in it. There is one central bathroom with both a shower and a bath.
The Old School House has a spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining room area with a central wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering. It has a four plate electric stove top, an electric oven, a microwave and a full-standing fridge and freezer.
We only take one booking at a time, so you would occupy the whole house.
Outside there is a barbecue area, as well as a boma with all that you will need to braai with.
Guests can enjoy walking among the Karoo Koppies, swimming and fishing in the river, viewing the wildlife of The River Farm, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view of the river and the expansive Swartberg Mountain Range.
